Obituary of Harold Gene Whittemore

Mr. Harold Gene Whittemore, age 73, of Lafayette, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021, at his residence. Funeral services for Harold Whittemore are scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at 11 AM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Dean Dyer officiating. Interment will follow in the Pirtle Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, from 2 PM until 8 PM, and on Thursday, 8 AM until service time at 11 AM. Family respectfully requests donations be made towards the funeral expense or Pirtle Cemetery. Harold Gene Whittemore was preceded in death by his parents, Frankie Whittemore and Ollie Green Whittemore; Brothers, James Whittemore and Delton Whittemore; and sisters, Ruby Temps and Melvaline Jenkins. He is survived by; Wife, Frances Stubblefield Whittemore Sons, Jeffery Nelson Whittemore Dewayne “Winkie” Whittemore and wife, LeAnne Daughter, Cathy Joanna Miller and husband, Matthew Duane Grandchildren, Chase Whittemore, Logan Whittemore, Blake Miller, Dawson Whittemore, Hailey Miller, and Carley Miller Four Great-Grandchildren also survive.
