Obituary of Harold A. Cox

Harold A. Cox, age 90 of Castalian Springs, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017.  Graveside Service will be Monday May 1st at 2:00 p.m. at Corum Hill Cemetery, with Bro. Jerry Peace officiating and Derek O’Neal, Spencer O’Neal, Jeremiah Coltharp, Jonathan Carman, Jordan Carman, and Josh Cook serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be Sunday, April 30th from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home.

Mr. Cox was born December 11, 1926 in Castalian Springs, to the late William Carroll “Cad” Cox and Minnie Elizabeth Chambers Cox.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Helen Irene Petty Cox; brother, Bill Cox; and sister, Nell Cox.  He is survived by daughters, Debbie O’Neal (Larry) of Murfreesboro and Phyllis Carman (Jimmy) of Mt. Juliet; 5 grandchildren, Jonathan B. Carman (Carolyn), Julie Cook (Josh), Jordan Carman (Hannah), Derek O’Neal, and Stephanie Coltharp (Jeremiah); and 7 great grandchildren, Jaden Carman, Spencer O’Neal, Emily O’Neal, Isaac Martin, Brady O’Neal, Tyler Coltharp, and Lauren Coltharp.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderfh.info.  Alexander Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
