Obituary of James Charles Ankrom

ANKROM, James Charles, age 38 of Hendersonville, passed away January 14, 2018. James was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Alice Hughes; paternal grandparents, Alonzo and Edith Ankrom. He is survived by his parents, James and Karen Ankrom; Sister, Sarah (Rhonda) Ankrom; niece, Kyra Ankrom; Uncles, aunts, cousins and numerous beloved friends that became family.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 20^th at 1 pm from the Chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville with Reverend Harold Mizner and Reverend John McLendon officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 20^th from 10 am until time of service.

James enjoyed anything that involved competition. He loved throwing darts, playing golf and watching football. He knew how to light up a room with his infectious charisma and uncanny ability to put “smiles on faces” (even throughout his darkest hour). He valued family and friends that became family. He lived his life based on his favorite quote.
