Obituary of Peggy Ann York

Peggy Ann York, age 72 of Lebanon, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Friday, January 26th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Avenue), with Bro. Bob Haley officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday, January 24th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 25th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m., and Friday, January 26th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.  Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. York was born July 10, 1945 in Robertson County to the late William Chandler and Margaret Redferin Pearson.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Darrell Pearson.  She is survived by husband of 39 years, Sterling Dewey York; daughters, Gloria Ann Tenpenny (David) of Gallatin and Teresa Williams (Danny) of Hartsville; stepdaughter, Penny Witcher (Mike) of Glasgow, KY; brothers, Mike Pearson (Debbie), Alvin Pearson (Brenda), Ricky Gammons of Nashville, Danny Gammons of Nashville, and Tommy Robertson of Nashville; sisters, Virginia Flynn of Gallatin and Monecca Cantarutti of Gallatin; 6 grandchildren, Alan, Jason, Richard, Amber, Bethany, and Shannon; and 1 great grandchild, Chasity.   Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
