Obituary of Linda Lou Kortely

Linda Lou Kortely, age 60 of Castalian Springs, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 12^th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Avenue).  Visitation will be Monday, June 11^th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, June 12^th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. 

Mrs. Kortely was born September 20, 1957 to the late William McCloud and Hilda Gregory McCloud.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister, Polly Hesson.  She is survived by husband of 34 years, Steve I. Kortely of Castalian Springs; sons, Chris Key (Kayla) of Portland and Jeff Key of Portland; brothers, Ernie McCloud of Castalian Springs, Danny McCloud (Sonia) of Murfreesboro, and Johnny McCloud of Portland; sisters, Irene Kizer of Westmoreland, Rita Slayton of Westmoreland, Anita Anderson of Gallatin, Donna Anderson of Portland, and Betty Morgan of Cookeville; step brother, David Creasy of Florida; 14 grandchildren; nephew and caregiver, Brian Jackson: and several other nieces and nephews.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN  38101-9908.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
