Obituary of Virginia Faye Simmons

Virginia Faye Simmons, age 84 of Hendersonville, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Monday, September 17^th at 2:00 p.m. at Eulia General Baptist Church, 8371 Old Highway 52, Westmoreland, TN  37186.  Interment will follow the service at Eulia Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be Sunday, September 16^th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home, 100 Albert Gallatin Avenue.  Visitation will continue Monday, September 17^th at the church from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Simmons was born September 7, 1934, in Lafayette, to the late Claude Duvall Marshall and Lamon Elizabeth Stone Marshall.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Samuel Simmons.  She is survived by son, Phil Simmons of Westmoreland; daughters, Penny Simmons of Hendersonville and Pam Kemp (Neil) of Westmoreland; brothers, Carl Ray Marshall (Margaret) of Scottsville, KY; sister, Betty Ruth Smalling (James) of Westmoreland; 2 grandchildren, Tiffany Kemp and Brittany Holliday (A.J.); and 3 great grandchildren, Andrew “Deuce” Holliday, Lakken Bell Cartwright, and Hayes Holliday.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
