Obituary of Alford Donal Loftis

Alford Donal Loftis passed away on November 4, 2018 at age 77.  The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from noon until the service.  The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Darrin Reynolds, is 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home.  Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery will follow the service.  Pallbearers:  Clay Loftis, Tim Scruggs, Chris King, Omrie Allen, Neal Oakley, and Chris Thompson.

               Mr. Loftis retired as a supervisor from Wynns Precision Rubber/Parker Seals. He loved to work on small engines.  He is survived by wife of 51 years Gladys Gray Loftis, children Jerry (Jenny) Loftis, Teresa (Tim) Scruggs, grandson Elijah Clay Loftis, and brother Bob (Hatti) Loftis.  He is preceded in death by parents Ethel Denson Loftis and James Russell Loftis, and siblings Joe Loftis, Martha Francis Loftis, William Loftis, Ruby Henley, Ina Loftis, J M Loftis, Pearl Jacubowski, Jean Whitfield, Walter Loftis, and Charles Loftis, and beloved canine companion Taylor.  Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, 615.444.9393.
