Obituary of Joe Kincaid

Joseph “Joe” Charles Kincaid, 89 years, husband of Imogene Kincaid, passed away peacefully on January 6^th, 2019. Joseph was born to the late Charlie and Pauline Kincaid on March 6^th, 1929 in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Kincaid was proud to serve in the United States Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed feeding birds, watching deer, gardening, and listening to gospel music.

            In addition to his loving wife of 69 years of marriage, he is survived by one daughter, Cindy Kincaid Holland (Labron); one grandson, Jeffrey Holland (Alyson); and one great – granddaughter, Kate Holland. Also, in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Kincaid (Peggy) and Freddie Kincaid (Linda); one sister, Katherine Kincaid Sells (Robert); and several nieces and nephews.

            The Funeral Service, conducted by Pastor Andrew Wharton will be Wednesday, January 9^th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 8^th from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, January 9^th from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
