Obituary of Audean Butler Dias

Audean Butler Dias, age 83 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Monday, January 21st at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Sunday, January 20th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday, January 21st from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with Marshall Barlow, Matt Barlow, Allen Morris, Drew Shrum, James Raymond, Rocky Thomas, and Larry Barlow serving as pallbearers.  Jimmy Baker will serve as an honorary pallbearer.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highpoint Hospice, Suite 200, 300 Steam Plant Road, Gallatin, TN  37066.

Mrs. Dias was born August 26, 1935 in Sumner County, to the late Hubert Clay Butler and Lena Lutrell Gregory Butler.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, James “Jimmy” Dias; grandson, Jamey Ray Dias; brothers, Jere Clyde Butler and J. D. Butler; and sisters, Erelene Stewart, Polly Clark, and Claudine Butler.  She is survived by sons, Tony Dias (Rhonda) of Eagleville and Jimmy Neal Dias of Panama City Beach, FL; daughters, Sherry Lynn “Lyndy” Barlow (Larry) of Gallatin and Shirley Morris of Gallatin; brother, Roger “Bud” Butler (Linda) of Brentwood; sister, Olene Harwell of Carthage; 6 grandchildren, Matt Barlow (Jamie), Marshall Barlow, Kristy “Nikki” Raymond (James), Amanda Morris, Paul Allen Morris (Carrie), and Lauren Ashley Cook (Stephen); and 10 great grandchildren.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral has been honored with arrangements.
