Obituary of Marsha Elizabeth "Liz" Fuqua

Marsha Elizabeth “Liz” Fuqua, age 74 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021. Funeral Service will be Monday, April 12th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Dr. Travis Fleming officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, April 11th from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. and Monday, April 12th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Brant Corlew, Barry Loveall, Mark Visser, Jeffrey Fuqua, Dalton Speller, and Branley Corlew-Hodges serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, or Shriners Hospital for Children Medical Center, 110 Conn Terrace, Lexington, KY 40508. Mrs. Fuqua was born February 12, 1947 in El Paso, TX to the late Marshall W. Minard and Daisy Holloman Minard. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by son, William R. Fuqua; and niece, Lisa Fuqua McDabe. She is survived by husband of 57 years, Donald R. Fuqua of Gallatin; brother, Harry Minard (Susan) of Joelton; sister, Ann Dean Ross of Gallatin; nieces, Branden Corlew, Jessica Minard, Holly Minard, Loretta Visser, and Avery Ross; and nephews, Jeffrey Fuqua and Marshall Ross.
