Obituary of James Edward Jones

James “Jay” Jones passed away on April 30, 2021 at age 83. James Edward Jones was born in Russellville KY to Lula Beatrice Fuller and Paul Edward Jones. He worked as a Foreman at TVA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. His specialty was hot peppers, green onions, and tomatoes. He is survived by wife of 64 years, Patricia Ann Jones (“he was my best friend and the love of my life”), children Rhonda Bush, Eddie (Vicky) Jones, and Gregg Jones, grandchildren Lori, Jennifer, Shayna, Casey, Jami, Heather, and Gidget who was raised by James and Patricia, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews in Kentucky. He is preceded in death by son Ricky Pierce, parents Lula Beatrice and Paul Jones, brother Sidney D. Jones, and sisters Joyce, Faye, and Regina. Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, The Memorial Service is 3 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church (7463 Hickory Ridge Rd), Mt. Juliet TN. Visitation is from 1 p.m. until the service at 3 p.m. at the church on Saturday.
