Obituary of Marcus Borders

Marcus Borders, age 49 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021. Funeral Service will be Friday, July 9th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Elder Kevin Harrison officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, July 8th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Friday, July 9th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mr. Borders was born November 10, 1971 in Gallatin. He is preceded in death by father, Roger Borders; and son, Ayden Borders. He is survived by wife, Tisha Griffin Borders; sons, Dawson Borders of Gallatin and Carson Borders of Gallatin; mother, Kay Williams of Westmoreland; brothers, Jason Borders of Westmoreland and Brandon Finn of Westmoreland; sister, Cari Finn of Gallatin; mother-in-law, Nina Young (Ray) of Hartsville; father-in-law, Johnny Griffin (Janie Suttle) of Gallatin; and niece Olivia Hoffman.
