Long time ago, I was an exchange student at the house of Cliff and Ann. It was a wonderful year. I appreciated the interest Cliff and Ann had for me, my interests, my culture. I loved to be there and to be part of the family. He, as well as as Ann, did everything I felt well! Cliff was an interesting personality, loved to discuss, ws happy to have young peaople aroung him, was like a second father for me, or even my father! He was interested in politics, in cultural themes, and was always interested in my well-being. Although I went only once back to visit them I never stopped thinking of them and telling my kids how wonderful life was that year.
My thoughts go to Ann who was there for him all the time, who supported him with a natural positive way of life, his daughter Nancy I only knew a little bit as she went to university when I was in Vero Beach.
It was a great year and I'm very happy to get to know you Cliff. Rest in peace. I will never forget you.
Many hugs to Ann! Stay strong! Cliff will always be there in my thoughts!
Uncle Cliff was more than my Dad's brother to us. Whenever he came into our life, there was always laughter and he was an interested listener, asking questions to hear and learn more about whatever we were doing in our lives. I remember well that when I mentioned disappointment I had in the Los Angeles Unified School District, he suggested I campaign to join the LAUSD board. Not practical for me since even a bankroll of $1 million was insufficient to be elected at the time, but he had a can-do attitudes that we could each make a difference in the world. Rest in peace, Uncle Cliff. You will be missed. With love, Leslie
Wow Uncle Cliff's life was incredible! So many cool hobbies and achievements. Seeing everything he did motivates me to do more with my life. The world has changed an unbelievable amount during his lifetime, it's hard to imagine having memories of so many important events. I'm glad he had such a long and diverse career, he will live on in all the memories and laughs he's brought to so many people over the years. Rest in peace Uncle Cliff.
