When you get a feeling in your spirit to call an old friend, don't put it off. I have been meaning to call Coni for the last few months, but life got in the way. I called her cell number today and was going to let her know about our high school reunion and ask if she wanted to ride with me. How devastated and heartbroken I am having learned she passed just two days ago. She was a good friend since high school. We both lost our husbands within a month of each other, and we drew closer after that. We got together with a few friends for lunch in Murfreesboro in 2015, and that's the last time I saw her. I got a Christmas card from her every year filled with updates on her family and all her critters. She was a precious soul, and I know her family is grieving her loss. I pray God surrounds all of you with his loving arms as He gives you a peace that transcends all understanding. I am attaching a photo of the last time we were together.
