Obituary of Bill Evans

Mr. William George Evans, better known as Bill, age 79, of Lafayette, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Westmoreland Care and Rehab. Funeral Services for William George Evans are scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at 10 AM from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Pastor Eugene L. Martino, Jr. officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, from 11 AM until 8 PM and again on Wednesday September 1, 2021 from 8 AM until service time at 10 AM. William George Evans was preceded in death by his Wife, Judy Yvonne Shidler Evans; Parents, Henry Evans and Marion Ilams Evans; Brother, Joe Evans; and Sister, Barbara Geddes. He is survived by; Daughters, Suzanne Cherry Louanne Martin and husband, Joe Son, William Evans Jr. and wife, Sally Sisters, Loretta Shuler Mary Evans Six Grandchildren and Four Great-Grandchildren also survive.
