I remember the first day I met Mrs. Russell in January 2002. I had a 5 yr old and a 5 month old and needed someone desperately to babysit two very long days per week. That “babysitter” soon became a precious member of our family, and we could not have done life without her!
There are too many stories to tell from the painted fence posts, chopped thistles, buckets of rocks, 4 wheeler rides, kitchen smoke alarms, birthdays, Christmases, church services, homeschool lessons, cheese bread, nut rolls, banana pudding, eye drops, oil changes, tick removals, near death experience with the go-cart, poems, prayers, words of encouragement and endless bouquets of buttercups, to the literally thousands of starched, ironed shirts for my boys because she finally convinced me she REALLY did love to iron.
For all of this and so much more, we love you, thank you and are forever grateful that the Lord gave you to our family!! Our hearts are hurting tonight, and we will miss you greatly, but we look forward to the day when we will join you around the throne in heaven!! All our love to you Mrs. Russell, until we meet again...xxooxx - The DEWITT’s (Lance, Becky, Wade and Wyatt)
