Our Dearest 'Ms.' Mattie and the entire 'Brother' Oscar RUBIO 'Family':

How does one find the words? 'Brother' Oscar joined us from the U. S. Army RANGER school, Fort Benning, Georgia, as we were organizing the 11th Air Assault Division (TEST) and re-activating the Colors of 'DELTA' Company, 1st Battalion (AIRBORNE-Air Assault), 187th INFANTRY ('Rakassans'), 1st AIRBORNE Brigade, at 'Harmony Church', summer 1963. 'We' deployed to the central highlands of Vietnam summer 1965. 'Delta' Company, led by such outstanding LEADERS as 'Brother' Oscar, fought with Honor and Distinction. For more than 58 years, 'Brother' Oscar and his Vietnam WAR 'Delta' 'Brothers' stayed in touch! His reporting for 'duty' to 'Fiddler's Green', continues that 'Brotherhood' association forever! (Until we meet you on the other side!). There exist no adequate words for the 'Delta' 'Brothers' to express the hurt, the sorrow, the grief, that all of us feel in the loss of 'Brother' Oscar.
