Obituary of Stephen Howell Highers

Mr. Stephen Howell Highers, age 76 of Hartsville, TN passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Sumner Regional Medical Center, Gallatin, TN. He was born August 24, 1945 in Lebanon, TN to the late James & Virginia Highers. Survived by: Brothers, James & Michael Highers; Children; Grandchildren and Friends who were all beloved to him. He was a lifelong member of Antioch Church of Christ in Castalian Springs, TN. He graduated from Trousdale County High School, served in the Army National Guard and attended MTSU. He worked as a mechanical engineer for TVA until his retirement. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 11 AM Thursday, September 9, 2021 conducted by Bro. Greg Armstrong. Interment will be in the Rankin Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday and 9 AM until service time Thursday.
