Obituary of Helen Sue Cooper Harris

Mrs. Helen Sue Cooper Harris, age 71, of Lafayette, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at Macon Community Hospital. Funeral Services for Helen Harris are scheduled to be conducted on Friday, September 10, 2021, at 10 AM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Tony Day officiating. Interment will follow in The Underwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 4 PM until 8 PM and on Friday, from 8 AM until service time at 10 AM. Mrs. Helen Harris was preceded in death by her Parents, Frank Deforest Cooper and Margaret Elizabeth Pruitt Cooper; Grandson, Charles Burton Nix; and Brothers, Ervin Frank Cooper and Junior Cooper. She is survived by; Husband, Howard Harris, Jr. Son, Billy Joe Harris and wife, Rosa Daughters, Shirley Lynn Gordon Brenda Lee Nix and companion, Daniel Culver Grandchildren, Billy Joe Harris, Jr., Meaghan Harris, Salvador Hernandez, Kenya Rosales, and Jose Rosales Rita Goheen, Angela Halsey, and Christopher Gordon Jimmy Nix and Danny Culver Brother, Bobby Cooper Sister, Faynell Green Seventeen Great-Grandchildren, One Great-Great- Grandchild, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
