Steve is a dear friend and a very special soul who will be greatly missed. From the day I met him, he has been nothing short of an inspiration. Every single time we spoke, he always made sure that I was being taken care of, not only by his business, but by life itself. I can't think of any person who put others before themselves the way Steve did.

You will be greatly missed. I hope you can finally have some peace knowing that you made our world a much better place.

Sending Condolences to all the Davis Family he wasn't just a tool guy he was a friend. We always looked forward to Steve on Wednesdays. This one was a hard pill to swallow such a good guy and a caring heart gone to soon.

I have known Steve for almost 9 years now. He was one of the first tool distributors I really cared about and the first who genuinely seemed to care about everyone else. More than just a business to him. Going out every week and seeing Steve was a bright part of the day. Always had the best attitude. Always had a smile. When I saw him it was always on a Friday and we were both always really excited because it was usually the last day of work. You will forever be missed and there will forever be a void in your place. RIP buddy.

I’ve known Steve since 1982 where we both worked at Paradyne and a startup Vina Technologies in the late 1990’s until 2004. He has always been a true friend and felt like a brother to me. I had the chance to met his lovely wife Lesley in April 2019 when I visited Memphis for a sales meeting. It was always fun catching up with him, on what was going on with his Matco business, talking over the love of family, coffee and taking Tech!

Our prayers are with Lesley and his children Stephen and Desireah as well as his extended family.

It was a true pleasure having you as my friend, your time has passed way to soon!!
