I am heartbroken. Ike and I had known one another since elementary school. He was one of the few people in our school 'life' who celebrated the unusual, the needy and made sure we were never treated poorly. Once punk rock entered our consciousness, it only cemented our friendship further. We only lost touch briefly (pre-Facebook days), however once social media linked us all back together. We caught-up without missing a beat and immediately picked up where we'd left off. We clearly had very different ideas in regards to politics, etc. Fortunately, it never once affected our friendship. We've also endured similar medical issues, and spoke frequently about feeling like test dummies and not feeling heard. I heard you my friend. I hope you found peace. Tell Joe (Strummer) hey for me. Pretty sure you looked him up the second you got there. I will miss you tons. If I can be of any help to your family it would be an honor to. Lastly, Kick out the jams....

A good friend, good conversations. A great brother in law. I will miss him.
