Obituary of Harold W. Howser

Mr. Harold W. Howser, age 80, of Lafayette, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Macon Community Hospital, in Lafayette. Funeral services for Harold Howser are scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 2 PM, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Ricky Holland officiating. Interment will follow in The Rocky Mound Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, from 1 PM until 8 PM, and on Wednesday from 9 AM until service time at 2 PM. There will be a Masonic Service at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 7 PM, conducted by the Lafayette Lodge # 543 F&AM. Harold W. Howser was preceded in death by his sons, Anthony Howser and Timothy Howser; parents, Merlin Ray Howser and Lassie Viola Haskins Howser; sisters, Geneva Law, Bonnie Stone, and Diane Harper; infant sister, Ihia B. Howser; and long-time companion, Mona Birdwell. He is survived by; Grandson, Bradley Hawkins Sisters, Sue West and husband, Billy Patsy Carr and husband, Bill Teresa Jett Brother, Stevie Howser One Great-Grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive.
