Obituary of Buford Thomas Wix

Mr. Buford Thomas Wix, age 73, of Highland Community, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at his Residence. Funeral services for Buford Wix are scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 2 PM, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Reverend Don Rhoads and Reverend Eric Latiamer officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Highland General Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Friday, November 19, 2021, from 11 AM until 9 PM, and on Saturday from 10 AM until service time at 2 PM. Mr. Buford Thomas Wix was preceded in death by; Parents, Nolan Thomas Wix and Myrtle Rae Meador Wix; and Sister, Donnie Mae Huntsman Tuck. The family request donations be made to the Highland General Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or the Macon County Historical Society. He is survived by; Wife, Pamela Tinsley Wix Son, Shannon Wix and Wife, Tara Daughter, Amy Stephens and Husband, Kenny Grandchildren, Cole Wix Mea Williams Lindsey Stephens Dalten Wix Taye Wix Owen Goodman Grace Goodman
