Obituary of Michael Anthony Hargrove

Michael Anthony Hargrove passed away on the morning of December 13, 2021. Mike, Dad, Grandad, Papa is what he was called. A husband, preceded in death to Kathryn V. Hargrove, a friend to two girls, Micheline Hargrove Murre and Heather Hargrove, whom he loved and devoted his life to. Grandad to Devan Murre, Christian Murre, Austin Cook, and Ashley Odom. Papa to great grand daughter Ryann Murre. He was a sports fan, jack of all trades, and of course a part time funny guy with a goofy sense of humor and would always walk away, a friend. He could always be found roaming the isles of Lowes and Home Depot as he planned the next project his daughters envisioned. Born to Jesse James and Lera Lee Hargrove in 1946, Michael was one of eleven children. He was survived by siblings, Donald J. Hargrove and Deloris Faye Johnson and preceded in death by brothers Jeff, Wayne, Richard, Jerry and Dan Hargrove, along with sisters, Barbara A. Thweatt, Mary Lou Tignor, and Ginger G. McEachron.
