Obituary of Janyce Anita McDowell Blanford

Ms. Janyce Anita McDowell Blanford, age 84, of Lafayette, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022,

at Westmoreland Care and Rehab. Funeral services for Ms. Janyce Blanford are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at 2 PM, from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Reverend Jason Halloway and Reverend Timothy Brawner officiating. Interment will be in the Van Pelt Cemetery in St. Paul, Indiana.

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Sunday, January 9, 2022, from 10AM until service time 2 PM.

Ms. Janyce Blanford was preceded in death by her Husband, Elmer Ray Blanford; Son, Mark McDowell; Parents, Glenn McDowell and Louise Forrester McDowell; and Brother, Bennett McDowell.

She was also preceded in death by Three Grandchildren and One Great-Grandchild.

Janyce Blanford is survived by;

Kevin Blanford and wife, Jenny

David Blanford and wife, Heather

Scott Blanford and wife, Trish

Patrick Blanford and wife, Carrie

Thirty-two Grandchildren and Seventeen Great-Grandchildren also survive.
