Obituary of Frankye Mitchell Wright

Mrs. Frankye Mitchell Wright, age 88 of Hartsville, TN formerly of Asheboro, NC passed away Tuesday morning, January 11, 2022 at Sumner Regional Medical Center, Gallatin, TN.

Mrs. Wright was born June 7, 1933 in Stokes County, NC.  Later in life she lived and worked in Asheboro, NC where she attended Balfour Baptist Church.  In 2014 after the passing of her husband, William Wright she moved to Hartsville, TN to live with her son and daughter-in-law, Greg & Nan Wright.  She loved to sing and she was known for her beautiful voice and sweet countenance. 

Preceded in death by:  Grandson, Stephen Wright:  Husband, William Wright;  Brothers, Joe, Clarence, John, Morrison and Charles Mithcell and Sisters, Kathleen Tedder and Alma Wagoner.

Survived by:  2 Sons, Greg (Nan) Wright-Hartsville, TN and  Mark (Melissa) Wright-Newnan, GA;  3 Grandchildren, Brock Wright, Anna Wright & Jonathan Wright and 3 Great Grandchildren, Maxton, Taylor & Wyatt Wright.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 12 Noon Monday, January 17, 2022 conducted by Bro. Stan Blades. Interment will be in the Hartsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 10 AM to service time Monday.
