I met Lauran at Life church on a Wednesday night in 6th grade. She would always bring some type of cookie that she made for the group. After 6th grade she left the group but joined back in 8th grade. She brought a book to read. It was about how to think pf God. The first page was "Jesus be bacon". That night we started adding to that list. There are now like 15 things on it. I remember when our group was sitting on the floor in a hallway and to start off the night she pulled out an icebreaker for fun. The icebreaker ws to say pterodactyl without showing your teeth. It was so funny she couldn't stop laughing. She was always the person to go to. When I had a problem she would be the first person i would tell. She would always help me through it. She was like my second mom. I loved her so much. She impacted so many people by just saying hi and making there day. Wednesday nights were my favorite. When we went to small groups we didn't talk about the questions at all, we would just talk about life. Lauranwas not afraid of what would happen. I remember the nights she didn't come because she was in the hospital or at home sleeping. Those nights were so boring and bland without her. She knew how to light up a room.

My memories of Lauren are at Lowe's, she was our head cashier. She was such a sweet young lady,with the soul of an angel. I was always "Aunt Somer" to Lauren, said I reminded her of her Aunt. I will miss her always, our talks and the way we laughed.....outside garden when she needed a break from the front end. My prayers are with her family and friends, and may you find peace and comfort knowing how much we all loved Lauren.
