Obituary of Jo Ann Sloan

Jo Ann Sloan, age 65 of Portland, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022.  Celebration of Life Service will be at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26^th in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Wednesday, January 26^th from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m.

Mrs. Sloan was born September 23, 1956 in Davidson County to the late Joseph Trotter and Tootsey Ashworth Trotter.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Tommy Sloan; and sister, Judy Fitzgerald.  She is survived by son, James Croslin of Gallatin; daughter, Etta Coffelt of Portland; sister, Rhoda Fuller of Madison; 3 grandchildren, Brittany Coffelt, Savannah Croslin, and James Gregory; and 1 great grandchild, Bristol Savage.  She was a wonderful mother.  Mrs. Sloan took care of many people in her life and she loved the Lord.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
