Obituary of H.L. Bergdorf Jr.

Mr. H.L. Bergdorf Jr., age 83, of Lafayette, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. H.L. Bergdorf are scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 1 PM, from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Reverend Billy “Pete” Freeman, Jr.  officiating. Interment will follow in the Lafayette City Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 9 AM until 9 PM and on Wednesday from 9 AM until service time at 1 PM.

Mr. H.L. Bergdorf was preceded in death by his Wife, Lucy May Reid Bergdorf; Parents, Harvey Leighton Bergdorf and Ada Gustine Sexton Bergdorf ; Brothers, Joe Bergdorf, Donald Bergdorf, David Bergdorf and Wayne “Bull” Bergdorf; Sister, Virginia Atkins; Son-in-law, Donald Gregory
