Obituary of Helen Irene Crook

Helen Irene Crook, age 87 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Friday, February 18^th at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Jerry Peace officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday, February 17^th from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m.  and Friday, February 18^th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Crook was born September 24, 1934 in Hartsville to the late Eskie Odell Thomas and Ella Lou Oldham.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Raymond Wilson Crook; brothers, Junior Thomas and Rhea Thomas; and sisters, Wilma Bowman and Snook Stafford.  She is survived by sons, Jackie Crook (Billie Jo) of Gallatin, Ernest “Ernie” Crook (Peggy) of Lafayette, Paul Crook (Bernice) of Indiana, Richard Crook of Gallatin, Bobby Crook (Tammy) of Gallatin, and Jeff Crook (Amber) of Gallatin; daughters, Debbie High of Gallatin, Connie Gregory (Doug) of Gallatin, and Rita Cline (Miles) of Gallatin; sisters, Jean Davenport of Hartsville and Lucille Street (Phil) of Indiana; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.  Mrs. Crook was a member of Harvest Hill Baptist Church.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored to assist the family.
