Obituary of Marie Betancourt

Marie Betancourt, age 98 of Gallatin, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Sunday, February 20^th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, 100 East Albert Gallatin Avenue, Gallatin, TN  37066.  Visitation will be Sunday, February 20^th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery, 871 Jennings Creek Hwy (Hwy 56), Gainesboro, TN  38562.

Mrs. Betancourt was born July 12, 1923 in Jackson County, TN to the late Channie Spivey and Louella Hix Spivey.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Jose Betancourt; son, Danny Williford; brothers, John Spivey and Sidney Spivey; sisters, Edna Whitaker, Willowdean Lawson, and Robbie Upchurch. She is survived by sister-in-law, Helen Spivey; nieces, Marci Stubben (Bruce Morgan) of Gallatin and Jennifer Napodano (Steven) of Ohio; great nieces, Jessica Whitehouse (Jason), Angela Bonds (J.R.), and and Stephanie Porter (Ryan); great nephew, Will Brigham (Aimee); great-great nieces and nephews, Ella Bonds (Aidan) and Ezra Brigham (Slade); and several loving nieces and nephews.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
