John and Lou were our neighbors in Greenbrier. Lou took care of my children while I was at work. We were flat broke and my husband tood a contract job in California. One evening I got there to pick up the kids and I told John I was scared because I thought I saw a shadow of a man near our house. John marched over there and checked everything out for me. I always felt safe knowing John was next door and would be there if I needed help.
