Obituary of Anita Frances Farmer

Mrs. Anita Frances Farmer, age 69 of Goodlettsville, TN, died Friday September 3, 2021 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Farmer was born September 22, 1951 in Nashville, TN the daughter of the late Cecil and Mary Franklin. Ms. Farmer is survived by her husband, Michael Wayne Farmer. Two sons Gary Farmer (Tonya) and Shane Farmer (Jamie) both of Portland, TN. Her brother Cecil Franklin of Cottontown, TN. Two sisters Cindy Barber of Goodlettsville, TN and Linda Milliken of Ft. Hood, TX. Three grandchildren; Brittani Farmer, Breanna Farmer and Dillan Farmer along with two great grandchildren Cerenity Payton and Reagan Mae Quinn. Along with her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Barber. Mrs. Farmer was a member of Christ Apostolic Church International in Portland, TN. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN with Dillan Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Old Brush Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
