Obituary of Jacob Aaron Cantrell

Mr. Jacob Aaron Cantrell, age 31 of Portland, TN died Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at his home in Portland, TN. Mr. Cantrell was born February 20, 1990 in Gallatin, TN. Jacob is survived by his parents Alvin and Sherry Cantrell of Portland, TN. His brother Josh Cantrell (Cassie) of Portland, TN along with a nephew Nicholas Aulds of Portland, TN. His grandmother Sue Leggett of Portland, TN and his grandfather Earl Collins of Jackson, Mich. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandmother Susie Collins and his grandfather Ronny Cantrell as well as his cousin Jason Collins. Jacob loved to hunt and joke around with his friends and family. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN with Dan Stratton officiating. Burial will follow at Old Brush Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday and from 9:00 Am until service time Sunday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
