Mr. Harry Joe Civils, age 73 of Franklin, KY., entered into Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 9:00 AM at his residence.. Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home in Franklin, KY. Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life services will be held at a later date. Mr. Civils was born July 21, 1944 in Sumner Co., TN. to the late Harry Carlton Civils and the late Rebecca Webb Civils. He was the husband of the late Joyce Civils. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers J.W., Ronnie and Ralph Civils and a sister Anne Gore. He is survived by his daughter Leslie Douglas of Scottsville, KY., 3 sisters Betty Stringer, Beverly Kirkham and Debbie Martin all of Portland, TN., 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mrs. Civils was a member of the Liberty General Baptist Church. He was a retired carpenter.
