Obituary of Mrs. Linda Sue Barnes

Mrs. Linda Sue Barnes, age 58 of Portland, TN., passed away Thursday, September 121, 2017 at her home in Portland, TN. Mrs. Barnes was born June 11, 1959 in Lawrenceburg, TN the daughter of the late James Frances and Shirley Ann Staggs. Mrs. Barnes is survived by her husband, Dillard Barnes of Portland, TN. Two sons, Steven Tidwell of Portland, TN. And Jeff Tidwell of Huntsville, AL. A step-son, Cliff Eugene Barnes (Jessica) of Portland, TN. A step-daughter, Pam Barnes of Gallatin, TN. A daughter-in-law, April Graves of Portland, TN. A brother, James T. Staggs and a sister, Betty Peel both of Carrabell, FL. Five grandchildren; Jacob Graves, Blayke Barnes, Braden Barnes, Brenten Barnes and Adam Tobar. Linda was a member of Mt. Pleasant General Baptist Church in Portland, TN. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN. Burial will follow in Old Brush Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:00 PM Saturday and from 9:00 AM until service time Sunday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
