Obituary of Mr. Aaron Warren Chadick

Mr. Aaron W. Chadick Sr., age 90 of Portland, TN., passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at his home in Portland, TN. Mr. Chadick was born August 5, 1927 in Arkansas the son of the late Willie Harlston and Maudie Chadick. Mr. Chadick is survived by three sons; David Wayne Chadick of Star City, Ark., Michael Odell Chadick and Aaron Chadick Jr. both of Portland, TN. Three daughters; Inez Pitts-Harr of Bryant, Ark., Bobbie White of Sheridan, Ark. and Carolyn Chadick of Pine Bluff Ark. 32 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Mr. Chadick was preceded in death by his wife, Penny Chadick; a son, Fred Calvin Chadick; a daughter, Sandra Lynn Chadick and 4 brothers. Aaron was an Army veteran and fought in WWII. He was a truck driver for most of his life and operated a produce stand as well. An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Chadick loved to hunt turkey and deer. Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until service time Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
