Obituary of Ms. Dorris Link Culbreath

Doris Culbreath, 74, of Portland, died at her home on Sunday, October 27, 2013. Doris was born June 28, 1939 in Nashville, TN to Lewis and Mary Agnes Link. She attended East High in Nashville. She later moved to Florida where she met some of her best friends and found her greatest passion; quilting. She later moved back to Tennessee where she was an active member of the Clearview Church of Christ and several area quilt guilds. Dorris was a vibrant woman who always had a smile on her face or a trick up her sleeve. She loved adventure but also relished her quiet life on the farm with her loving husband, Jack Culbreath. Doris is survived by her brother, Bobby Link of Florida; daughter, Lisa Wilson; grandchildren, Nicole Gant and Allen Wilson; great-grandchildren, Bella and Dash Gant. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Mary Agnes Link; husband, Jack Culbreath; and daughter, Marcia King. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at Clearview Church of Christ in Portland, TN. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until service time Tuesday at Clearview Church of Christ.
