Obituary of Mr. Burton Dye Blackburn Jr.

Mr. Burton D. "Junior" Blackburn, age 63 of Portland, TN., passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mr. Blackburn was the son of the late Burton D. Blackburn Sr. and Cora L. Blackburn. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Sharon Blackburn. 2 sons; Troy (Ann) Blackburn and Brian Blackburn both of Portland, TN. 1 daughter, Kimberly (Keith) Henson of Portland, TN. 3 brothers; Ricky, Dale and Bobby Blackburn all of Portland, TN. 3 sisters; Joyce Phelps of Russellville, KY., Sue Russell Rigg and Norma Jean Sadler both of Portland, TN. 2 grandchildren; Cameron Blackburn and Kenzie Henson. Mr. Blackburn was preceded in death by a sister, Gail Hodges. He was retired from Imperial Fabricating and was Owner and Developer of Blackburn Properties. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Portland Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and from 10:00 AM until service time Friday at Portland Funeral Chapel.
