Obituary of Mr. Forest Dean Whittemore

Mr. Forest Dean Whittemore, age 65 of Portland, TN., passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. Mr. Whittemore was born in Westmoreland, TN, the son of the late Ted and Esmar Whittamore. Mr. Whittemore is survived by his wife, Rose Whittemore of Portland, TN. 3 sons; Randy, Johnny and Jason Whittemore all of Portland, TN. 1 daughter, Angela Whittemore of Brownsville, KY. 6 sisters; Emma Dillehy of Portland, TN., Peggy West and Lilly Mae Berry both of Indiana, Brenda Harper and Melissa Harper both of Hartsville, TN., Susan Smith of Russellville, KY. 19 grandchildren Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Thursday at Portland Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Cold Springs Cemetery in Lafayette, TN. Visitation will be after 3:00 PM Tuesday, and after 9:00 AM Wednesday at Portland Funeral Chapel.
