Obituary of Ms. Alice W. Badger

Ms. Alice W. Badger, age 96 of Portland, TN., passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at The Bridge at Highland Nursing facility in Portland, TN. Ms. Badger was born in Clear Lake, Wisc., the daughter of the late Harris V. and Mary Smith. Ms. Badger is survived by 4 nieces; Alice Litchfield of Portland, TN., Patty Wade of Russell Springs, KY., Eleanor Stocks and Marlys Hedding both of Chicago, IL. 2 nephews; Jim Dickinson of Portland, TN. and Brice Smith of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Several great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews. Ms. Badger was preceded in death by her husband, George Badger. Ms. Badger was a member of Highland Seventh Day Adventist Church in Portland, TN. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Portland Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Old Brush Cemetery in Portland, TN. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Thursday at Portland Funeral Chapel.
