Mrs. Hallie Rodgers, age 87 of Portland, TN. passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. Mrs. Rodgers was a born in Gainesboro, TN., the daughter of the late Odie and Lula West. Mrs. Rodgers is survived by 3 daughters; Peggy (Jimmy) Kemp of Hendersonville, TN., Carolyn (Billy) Lame of Portland, TN., and Sue (John) Barham of Winchester, Ark. 2 sisters; Dot Olah of Deerfield Beach, FL. and Etta Crunk of Hendersonville, TN. 1 brother, Charles West of Brentwood, TN. 6 grandchildren. 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth Ray Rodgers. 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday at Portland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jon Briggs officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday and from 8:00 AM until service time Monday at Portland Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Old Brush Cemetery.
