Obituary of Roy Lee Tharp

Roy Lee Tharp, age 65 of Portland, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013, at his home in Portland. He was a native of Hartford, Iowa, and is the son of the late Charles and Pearl Tharp. He is survived by his wife, Susan Tharp of Portland; son, Travis Tharp of Portland; sisters, Vera Lingle, Wanda Hodges, Kathy Tharp, and Laura Dickens; brother, Kenny Tharp; grandchildren, Rebecca and Jaylee Tharp. Visitation is after 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 4, 2013. Funeral service is 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 4, 2013, at Portland Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bud Ridner officiating.
