My heart is filled with shock and grief over this loss. My dear friend of 59 years - so many memories of this wonderful humorous loving man. He was just a kid when we met him at The Nashville West. I had a birthday just a short yime later and he brought me a gift which I still treasure. God Bless all who will dearly miss Ron. R.I.P. my friend.

Although we’d only met your Dad a couple of times he was warm, friendly, funny, charming and enormously talented. You both meant the world to him and he was very proud of both of you. Johnny was one of the greatest guys you’d want to know, and he was always professional in every thing he ever did. I have known him for about 25-30 years and talked to him many times at the Opry as well as at various functions all around Nashville. The last time I saw him was working at the Wildon County Fair in Lebanon in August, 2021 as announced for the Music City Hayride show we did there and he was the closing act for our show. I will always consider it a great honor to have known him for many years, to have witnessed his talent, and to appreciate the things he stood for. Rest In Peace my friend!

I am shock to hear about my friend as Johnny passing.My daughter Taria and I have know him for a long time.Would go see him at Opryland. He lived in the same apartment complex we lived in years ago. You are now with your twin brother .RIP our Dear Friend.
