Obituary of Richard Lanny Casteel

Richard Lanny Casteel, age 64 of Gallatin, passed away, Sunday, May 22, 2022.  Gathering of Friends and Family will be Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Family Heritage Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Family Heritage Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.

Mr. Casteel was born October 14, 1957 in Sumner County.  He is preceded in death by father, John Richard Casteel; and mother, Alma Frances Presley Casteel.  He is survived by sisters, Nancy Gregory (Tim) of Castalian Springs, Linda Stewart (Thomas) of Gallatin, and Virginia Casteel; brother, Leland Windell Casteel (Penny Templeton) of Bethpage; and several nieces and nephews.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored to assist the family.
