Obituary of Emmalene Palmer-Webster

Mrs. Emmalene Palmer-Webster, age 58 of Hendersonville, Tennessee , a loving and caring wife and mother departed this life the evening of Tuesday, June 2, 2022 with complications from sickle cell and chemotherapy. Emmalene was born May 24, 1964 in Gallatin, Tennessee to the late Moses and Mabel Holman Palmer. She received The Holy Ghost July 12, 1974 and was baptized June 30, 1974. Emmalene attended New Beginnings Christian Center.

Growing up Emmalene attended High School in Gallatin. She continued her education after graduation at Middle Tennessee State University where she received a Bachelors of Science Degree, along with obtaining a diploma from the Tennessee State Board for Vocational Technical Education. Emmalene work career involved working for State of Tennessee as a Child Care Licensing Counselor, Certified Social Counselor II, Nutritional Specialist, Assistant Director and Teacher, along with being a Licensed Practical Nurse at Lebanon Medical Center and Vanderbilt Hospital . She also worked at MTSU as a Tennessee Anti-Tobacco Advocacy Initiative and Middle Tennessee Regional Liaison.

 

Emmalene enjoyed being a Tennessee Promise Mentor, along with being very active in brain aneurysm awareness in the honor of her son Trey. She loved working in the community for anyone who needed a helping hand, she was there. Above all Emmalene loved her family, and spoiled her husband and son. There was nothing she couldn’t and wouldn’t do for them. Her mother’s touch was reflected and shine through her son, from all the accomplishments, awards, and honors he received. She was very protective of Trey, he was her heart. As a wife she was very good at managing a home and Charles. Every problem or situation that was presented to her she always knew how to fix. With all of her skills and loving ways, she is what made home, A REAL HOME. This is just a small summary of the many talents she shared with so many. She was a glorious woman, and everyone who knew her was blessed to have her in their life.

Emmalene is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Charles Webster; who was bless beyond measure to have her in his life; nephew Stephen Burrow, along with a host of cousins and dear friends.

Along with her parents, Emmalene was preceded in death by her beloved son, Trey Webster and her sister, Lula Delores Burrow

A graveside service will be Saturday, June 11th at 1:00 pm at Beech Historic Cemetery in Hendersonville, Tennessee with Charles Hunter, Joe Stacey, Ponci Cobb, Matthew Priest, Michael Webster, and Joe Parsons serving as pallbearers.
