Obituary of Philena Dell Jouett Blankenship

Mrs. Philena Dell Jouett Blankenship, age 96, of Lafayette, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022, at The Villages of Murfreesboro. Funeral services for Mrs. Philena Blankenship are scheduled to be conducted on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 12 Noon, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home. Interment will follow in The Macon County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Sunday, June 12, 2022, from 2 PM until 7 PM, and on Monday, from 10 AM until service time at 12 Noon.

The Family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Macon County Retired Teachers  Association.

Mrs. Philena Blankenship was preceded in death by her Husband, Homer Hudson Blankenship; Parents, John Albert Jouett and Bessie Estell Parrott Jouett; and  Brother-in-law, Kenneth Arney.

She is survived by;

Daughter,

Kitty Leann Ruf and husband, Eric

Granddaughters,

Jessie Ruf

Callie Maddox and husband, Collin

Sister,

Mildred Arney

Brother,

Louis Jouett and wife, Judy

Numerous Nieces and Nephews also survive.
