Obituary of Mary Cox

Mary Cox, age 66 of Portland, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022.  Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, June 15^th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin.  Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15^th from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.

Mary was born August 27, 1955 to the late Elmer Murphy and Bernadine Bashaw Murphy.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Philip Murphy and Keith Murphy; and sister, Charlotte Perone.  She is survived by daughters, Corrie Murphy (Tim Smith) of Cross Plains, Christine Cox of Portland, and Chelsea Cox of Portland; sisters, Norma Rice of Bethpage, Janet Ruddy of Bethpage, and Lynda Davis (Troy) of Kokomo, IN; brother, Doug Murphy (Diane) of Westerville, OH; 2 grandchildren, Caleb Smith and Shelby Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
