Obituary of Charles Ray Perry

Charles Ray Perry, age 72 of Bethpage, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, June 16th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bro. Travis Graves officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, June 16th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow the service at Rock Bridge Cemetery, with Randy Perry, Bradley May, Chance Woodward, Shannon Gentry, Stevie Hodges, and Randy Settle serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Perry was born October 2, 1949 in Sumner County to the late Walton Head Perry and Jessie May Hill Perry.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Mary Lou Maulden Perry; brothers, Kenneth Perry and Ed Perry; and sisters, Margaret Durham, Marie Anderson, and Lucille Hodges.  He is survived by son, Randy Perry of Bethpage; daughter, Christie Perry Gentry (Shannon) of Westmoreland; brothers, Ricky Perry of Bethpage, Leroy Perry of Bethpage, Jerry Perry of Bethpage, Terry Perry of Bethpage, and Billy Perry of Bethpage; sisters, Ann Griggs of Bethpage, Gail Perdue of Portland, and Nancy Briley of Portland; and 4 grandchildren, MaKenzie Perry, MaKaylee Perry, Bradley Scott May, and Shania Woodward (Chance).  Mr. Perry retired from the Sumner County Highway Department after 37 ½ years of service.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin has been honored to assist the family.
