Richard was jovial, kind, smart, diverse in his interests, and an all-around great dude! He was dependable, loving, devoted to his wife and family (who he loved to talk about and show off, especially his daughters music abilities), and someone who I generally looked forward to seeing every week when we worked together. It was great with patients and the best coworker you could ask for. I was always impressed by his mechanical abilities and different interests. Had a great time learning about the cars he restored and love to go on FAST rides in them with him. He was also always good for a laugh and happy to give anyone a hard time. He knows my distain for paper clips and took every opportunity he could to make sure that my desk was covered in them and would even leave me messages spelled out in paper clips! Richard was awesome! My deepest condolences to the family! We will all miss one of the greatones!
We chose an ocean blue to symbolize your love for cruises so anytime we look at the ocean anywhere we’ll think of you. An amazing man married to an amazing women. We will take care Cheryl until you meet again. We love and miss you. Safe sailing to heaven❤️
I have to add another title to the ones already listed and that is “fun nephew and cousin.”. If you were with him, he always wanted you to be having a good time. He was kind, loving, and generous with his time and assets (his red truck, skating,etc.). We had many fun times on the lake on an inner tube behind the boat. We lived far away so it was hard to get together after he moved to Tennessee while we lived in Wyoming but I heard about adventures. His qualities echoed his parents and I want to commend them for the kind of man he grew up to be. We lost him way too soon and I deeply regret that I didn’t get to seem him for so long. I would have liked to see him around his wife, kids, and pets ( I didn’t know he was an animal whisperer). I can’t wait to see him again to learn new and exciting things about him and dip into his memories (John 5:28,29) as we have a sure guarantee of that.
So farewell for just a moment but we will miss you terribly. I feel like he wouldn’t want us to fall deeply into grief but for this time I cannot help myself and pray for all of his loved ones to have the strength to get through this. I am adding one of my favorite photos of when I could hold him and kiss him. We love you, Crazy Aunt Deb, Uncle DeWayne-Lori, Jeffrey and Nikki
